How families search
Start a private search
Add a photo or describe the pet, then say where and when they went missing. No account needed.
Review possible matches
Compare nearby shelter, agency and community records, with missing details clearly noted.
Follow up with the source
Open the original listing and follow the source’s verification and reclaim instructions.
How matching works
What we compare
Animal type, breed, colour, size, location and timing, plus photos when both records have one. The strongest possibilities come first; each lead notes any missing evidence.
Alerts and coverage
With alerts on, we keep rechecking. Nothing is emailed until the owner confirms their address. If nothing is found, we say so and name any source we couldn’t check.
Privacy and sharing
Going public takes a clear choice and a confirmed email. Contact details are shared only when a person chooses.
We don’t publish accuracy or reunion figures until we’ve measured them on real cases.
